A HALD image is a neutral color grid that, when edited in a video application, can be converted into a LUT. To get it into XMP: (25, 64, or 144 size). Apply the LUT to the HALD image in Photoshop/Resolve. Save as JPG (100% quality). convert-cube-to-xmp

The most reliable way to perform this conversion is by using through Photoshop, as Lightroom uses .xmp files to wrap LUT data into selectable profiles.

This method is ideal if you already have access to Adobe Creative Cloud and prefer using official Adobe tools. Apply the LUT to the HALD image in Photoshop/Resolve
