The UV-8R is a dual-watch radio, meaning it can monitor two frequencies simultaneously. Use the key to toggle control between the top display (A) and the bottom display (B). The ▶ icon indicates which channel is currently active and will be used for transmission. You cannot alter frequencies directly in this mode;
